Ashlynn Whitsell was

Twenty one contestants took part in the event which was superbly organized by

The Jaycees Annual Christmas Parade, as usual went off without a hitch.
Parade chairman Paxton Arthurs stated that everything
went great and we had beautiful weather for the event. A very large crown was
on hand to see the Parade and the Jaycees would like to thank everyone for
coming and also all of the participants. We hope to see all of you next year!
Empty Stocking Fund
On behalf of the Thomasville Jaycees and myself, I would
like to thank all of the people who made the 2002 Empty Stocking Fund an
overwhelming success. With your support, we managed to surpass our goal of
$7,500 with ease and raise, at last count, more than $9,000. This money went
towards making Christmas a little better for more than 140 children and their
families.

Presidents Message
Are you ready for a
great year?!
Well I am too. It is an honor for me to serve as your President as we serve
our community. I would like to thank Paxton for his hard work and leadership
this past year. I feel that due to his and all of your hard work you have set
the club up for success this year. I am also excited about how well our last
five projects have gone. It leads me to believe that there is a community out
there that is ready to get involved in what we have to offer. Now it is up to
us to provide a civic club that is family oriented and a place that everyone
can come to learn leadership skills through community service.
Can
we do it?
You had better believe it!!
Full speed ahead!
