Thomasville Jaycees   

The Thomasville Jaycees are a non-profit organization located in Thomasville, North Carolina. They are members of the state and national Jaycees organizations whose primary purpose is leadership training for young people (ages 21 - 40). This training is achieved through members conducting various internal and external projects many of which are listed in the folders located on the left sidebar of this website. The Thomasville Jaycees were chartered in 1940. The sponsoring Jaycee chapter was the Winston Salem Jaycees. History and information pertaining to the Jaycees organization in general can be found through the state and national links listed on the right sidebar of this website.

 Question's or comment's concerning a particular project should be directed to the members who are in the leadership roles. Their telephone and/or E-mail numbers are listed in the Project folders. The Thomasville Jaycees general membership meets the 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month at a local restaurant or a board members home. Members and guests arrive at 7:00pm, dinner is served, meeting starts at 7:30, usually last about an hour. We try to have a speaker or program once a month. Project committee meetings are called by the project chairman and are normally held at a local restaurant or committee members home.  Location and date/time of meetings and projects can be found on the online Thomasville Jaycees Calendar of Events link on right sidebar of this website. Anyone can add information to this calendar.

Are you between the age of 21 and 39? Willing to pay state and national dues (per/year, not tax deductible)?  Willing to volunteer some time for yourself and our community?
