   Jaycees recognize outstanding local citizens at the annual DSA Banquet! 
The 50+ people at this years event were treated to violin music while dining on some fantastic chicken. Mayor Leonard delivered an informative and uplifting message followed by a pleasant vocal from Miss Thomasville - Ashlynn Whitesell. 2003 recipients are: (from left) Outstanding Public Servant -Kevin Sink, Outstanding Young Educator - Angela Guy, Distinguished Service Award - Brooks Nash, Outstanding Teenager - Brittany Yates and Outstanding Senior Citizen - Buddy Griffie.

The Distinguished Service Awards Banquet allows the Jaycees to recognize outstanding individuals within our community. Winning entries will be submitted to the North Carolina Jaycees State Competition.
